Saint Isidore and Saint Gauderic are the saint
patrons of ploughmen.
Saint Isidore day is celebrated on April the 4th.
He had born in Seville approximately in 560.
Highly cultured, he leaves numbers of writings.
The authorization of erecting this altarpiece
has been conceded by religious authorities
on May the 22nd 1626.
This altarpiece with the painted panels and the
statues (sculpted and gilt wood), from the first half of the 17th century, is registered as an historic monument. |
